My new baby girl Olivia!

I'd like to annouce the arrival of my wonderful baby Olivia she was a quick labour but very painful but she was worth it! She is so adorable and so shy allthough my husband Seth and me are very on going and very sociable my dear daughter Olivia is the exact opposite! So here's a pic of her!

 Thx! Eva.

The most amazing person I know!

Hey everyone! I'd lke to talk to you about Racheal my dear friend who is both loveable and quite the jokester. Recently my 2 year old daughter ; Victoria was sick and was in the hospital for 2 weeks she was diagnosed with Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) which led to pneumonia.  Luckly she has made a recovery and back to her old self! The reason I did his blog is not to make you feel pity for my daughter but to let you know of my great friend Racheal who was there with me everyday comforting me and my daughter during this tragic time . She still comes to my house once in a while with her daughter  to check up on victoria and myself and to sit down and talk and thats what a great friend does so thank you Racheal for everything you have done and i don't know how to thank you i guess this is a start!

Okay Hi everyone
quick update.
The quote a day and craft a day entries are cancelled.

For Today:
 Topic: Terry fox run.
I know that its coming up at my daughters school.

“I just wish people would realise that anything is possible if you try. Dreams are made if people try.”
 Terry Fox
“I believe in miracles.... I have to.”
 Terry Fox

Now look at the quotes above i found from a web page
Now look at how many likes there are for each quote.
        THERES A PROBLEM WITH THAT

now lets be logical
there are by far at least one million people on face book.

those people are liking things like hockey teams and grocery stores and im one of them. but that HAS to be changed.

Please go to facebook and like it Now.

Terry fox run!

Terry Fox Always thankful for the way he was treated

hospital for chemotherapy treatments.

In March, 1977 Terry Fox was diagnosed with cancer at Royal Columbian. He was not yet the famous young man who would inspire people around the world with his courage. As his older brother Fred says, Terry was still an18 year old “kid”. From the start, he found a welcome at Royal Columbian.
Fred Fox recalls those first days after the diagnosis of a malignant tumour in his right leg. “It was a shocker. And hospitals can be so uncomfortable. But it never felt that way.”
“Terry was playing university basketball and had lots of guys visiting him. Big guys, who took up lots of room. But the hospital was always accommodating.” Terry had made Simon Fraser’s junior basketball team in spite of being told he was too short for basketball, showing the determination which never left him.
The amputation happened at Royal Columbian within three days of Terry’s diagnosis. In his hospital bed the night before surgery, Terry read about a one-legged athlete who ran in the New York Marathon and said “I can do that”.
After months of chemotherapy and training on his artificial limb, Terry entered a 27 km. marathon in Prince George. He finished last but was greeted at the finish line with a chorus of cheers.
Seven months later in April, 1980, Terry dipped his artificial leg into the Atlantic Ocean and began his marathon of hope across Canada. By September 1st, he had reached Thunder Bay, Ontario but was forced to stop because the cancer had spread to his lungs. Before heading home for treatment, he said “I’m gonna do my best. I’ll fight. I promise I won’t give up.”
Days later, from his bed at the Royal Columbian Hospital, Terry watched a special CTV telethon which that night raised $10 million for cancer research in Canada. He fell asleep before the end of the program, exhausted from his treatments.
In his final months, Terry Fox received many honours – he became the youngest Companion of the Order of Canada. Continuing his treatments at Royal Columbian, one of his nurses, Alison Sinson Ince recalled that Terry was an emotional magnet. “You couldn’t help getting emotionally involved with this young man” she said.
As Terry’s health worsened, Sinson Ince remembers that special phone lines were set up at the hospital and extra operators were hired because so many people were calling for updates. Terry’s parents remained at his bedside pretty well around the clock.
In early June, 1981, Dr. Ladislav Antonik, Royal Columbian’s Medical Director, informed national media that Terry’s condition was rapidly deteriorating, but he could still report that Terry was pleased about a proposed stamp commemorating his cross-country run. In those final weeks, Fred Fox remembers the hospital did a “wonderful job” in Terry’s care and in protecting his privacy. “The hospital was also fantastic in supporting my mom and dad, especially toward the end.”
All these years later, Fred Fox says “we were always thankful for the way he was treated at the Royal Columbian Hospital.” Terry Fox died at Royal Columbian on June 28, 1981, a month before his 23rd birthday. Sorry it's really long but people should know the greatness of this young hero! If you want to participate in the annual run and to learn more about terry fox then go to http://www.terryfox.org/Run/ . Thx for reading from Eva!

True Quote

This Quote is so true.
I love the true quotes because if you really get into them, (like me) they can mean ALOT!

Now on another track
LIFE!

Life puts many challenges in front of young girls. I mean if your a women reading this then you obviously know and even if your an older guy you probably know. Thats anaother reason me and Eva made this blog. My daughter and her daughter go to the same school.
they tell us about their days.
with a little tweaking they turn into FANTASTIC stories.
Today the little girls were Fairy tracking around there school at playtime. Then stoped when older kids were staring at them trying to get into the fairy world.
Little girls have some interesting minds!

Yay
